From Frustration to Focus: Our Origin
Part 1: The Founding Story
Pete’s early career was a search for purpose. Traditional office settings and corporate structures didn’t resonate. While an exciting international role offered travel and prestige, it lacked long-term fulfilment.
In 2004, a friend introduced him to web design. The potential to create something tangible and impactful sparked a passion he hadn’t experienced before. The first website was built, the learning curve was embraced, and Trackside Digital was launched.
The business grew steadily, but life took an unexpected turn when his wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2011. A move to the Netherlands to be closer to family followed, balancing caregiving and running a business. After his wife sadly passed away in 2014, a step back allowed for a re-evaluation of priorities.
He rediscovered his love for web design, but with a renewed focus—a deep belief in building strong partnerships with a select group of clients. This experience allows us to truly integrate into a client’s business, understand their challenges, and celebrate their successes together.

Through years of building deep client partnerships, a key insight emerged: a brilliant website is powerful, but a brilliant website guided by an expert strategy is unstoppable. To offer a truly complete solution, Trackside Digital evolved.
Today, our work is amplified by a formal collaboration with a Lead Strategist, Monika. As a senior Agile Coach with extensive experience guiding high-level corporate teams, she brings an enterprise-level strategic framework to our projects. She leads our critical “Phase 1: Strategic Blueprint” for every client, ensuring every project is built on a rock-solid foundation of clear goals and data-driven insights.
